About Our Sponsorship Program

Thank you for your interest in requesting sponsorship from Empower Youth Fund. Our sponsorship program is:

Designed to support underserved youth athletes in Key West and the Lower Keys, ages 7–18.
Intended to help young athletes who may face financial barriers to participating in athletic opportunities and accessing the resources they need to develop their skills.
Focused on helping youth build confidence, character, and the skills needed to succeed both on and off the field.

What Sponsorship May Support

Empower Youth Fund may provide financial assistance to help young athletes participate in opportunities that support their athletic development. Depending on the request, assistance may include:

Sports registration, membership, or participation fees
Athletic equipment, uniforms, or other required gear
Tournament, competition, or event fees
Travel expenses associated with athletic competitions or qualifying events
Training, coaching, or athletic development opportunities
Other reasonable expenses directly related to the student's athletic participation or development

When available, an invoice, registration information, or itemized estimate may be requested to help us evaluate the request and determine the appropriate level of support.

Sponsorship decisions are based on the individual request, available funding, program guidelines, and other factors considered by Empower Youth Fund. Submitting a request does not guarantee funding or payment of all requested expenses.

Consent and Acknowledge

By submitting this application, I certify that the information provided is accurate to the best of my knowledge. I understand that submitting this form does not guarantee sponsorship and that additional information may be required. If the student is selected for sponsorship, I acknowledge that a parent or guardian must complete and sign the Picture Use Consent Form, and both the student and the parent or guardian must review and sign the Youth Athlete Code of Conduct. All required forms must be wet signed and submitted before sponsorship can be approved, and I understand that failure to follow the Code of Conduct may affect the student’s eligibility for continued sponsorship.
